Teaching Experience

Aresh has worked with NYU, New School, Columbia, Vassar, Hampshire, Pitzer College and other universities to produce educational art shows and workshops about community gardens, and social and environmental justice issues.

Aresh co-directs “Rise Up and Green the Bronx,” a free summer camp for children and their families now in its eighteenth year. The camp focuses on nature-based experiential learning and art-making. There, children and their parents deepen their relationships within their communities, the environment, and with themselves.
